You choose who sees what
Every event and post has its own audience. Private is the default for events; friends for posts.
Photos lose their location
We strip hidden location data from every picture you upload to an invitation or post.
Private means private
Guests’ notes are for hosts only, and personal questions are optional, encrypted and never on your profile.
Texts only with permission
Hosts confirm they know their guests. Everyone can reply STOP, and we never text overnight.

Questions, answered
Do my guests need an account to reply?
No. Guests open the link you send, tap I’m in, Maybe or Can’t, and they’re done. They can also add the event to their own calendar. An account is only for people who want their own calendar, friends and feed.
Is tidbok free?
Yes — invitations, your calendar, friends, messages and suggestions are free. Paid plans add extras such as posting public events as an organization. You can see exactly what’s included on the Plans page.
How do I invite people?
Paste a list of names, emails and phone numbers, or just copy your event’s short link and send it any way you like. Each person invited by email or text also gets a personal link, so their reply is tied to them.
How do text-message invitations work?
You add phone numbers of people you know and confirm you have their permission. Each person gets one short text naming you and the event, with a link to reply. Everyone can reply STOP at any time, and we never text between 9 pm and 8 am. Text delivery is rolling out; email invitations work today.
Can I use my Google, Apple or Outlook calendar?
Yes. Subscribe to your tidbok calendar from Apple, Google or Outlook with one link, and bring your Google or Outlook events into tidbok — or add any calendar by its .ics address.
Who can see my plans and posts?
You choose. Events are private by default and posts go to friends unless you pick public. Guests’ private notes are visible only to the hosts, and you can set your profile to private, friends or public.
Can restaurants, theaters, bands and comedians use tidbok?
Yes. Organizations and public figures can have a page people follow, post announcements and events, and followers can add shows straight to their calendars.
How do suggestions work, and can I turn them off?
You answer a few questions about what you like and tidbok learns from what you save, join and hide. Every suggestion tells you why it was chosen. You can remove anything it learned, stop a category, or reset it all.
Is there an app?
The iPhone and Android apps are on their way. Until then tidbok works in any phone or computer browser — no download needed.
How do I delete my account and data?
Settings → Delete account removes your profile, events, posts, messages and pictures. You can also download your data first. Guests who only replied through a link can email support@tidbok.com.
